Safeguarding and Reporting Concerns

We are committed to safeguarding children and promoting children’s welfare and expect all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment and maintain a constant vigilant and safe environment.

Safeguarding Is Everyone’s Business.

Safeguarding children and young people is the responsibility of everyone.

The Senior Child Protection Officer is Ms Allen who is supported by Child Protection Officers Ms Kaira, Ms Pearson, Mrs Zarar and our Emotional Health and Wellbeing Nurse, Mrs Moloney.

The member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for Safeguarding is Mrs Connolly, Deputy Headteacher (Designated Safeguarding Lead).

Parents/carers should be aware that all of our staff are legally obliged to follow up any concerns they may have around Child Protection.

If we are concerned that a student is at risk of significant harm or is being abused, we will refer these concerns to Children, Families and Social Care (CFSC) and/or the Police if necessary. In some circumstances this may happen without the consent or knowledge of parents/carers.

If you have any safeguarding concerns please contact the school.
