Cooperative Values

The co-operative values of co-operation, self reliance, team work and ethical approaches to business have informed our school values. These form an important role in strengthening our school ethos and our links with the local community.

Each half term focuses on one particular value:

  • Self-help (Half Term 1)

We help people to help themselves.

  • Self-responsibility (Half Term 2)

We take responsibility for, and answer to our actions.

  • Equality (Half Term 3)

No matter how much money a member invests in their share account, they still have one vote.

  • Solidarity (Half Term 4)

We share interests and common purposes with our members and other co-operatives.

  • Democracy (Half Term 5)

We give our members a say in the way we run our business

  • Equity (Half Term 6)

We carry our business in a way that is fair and unbiased
