We actively promote values such as ‘mutual understanding and respect’ and equality between girls and promote values of democracy, respect and tolerance for all races, cultures, faiths and beliefs. This is lived out in the programmes of SMSC, assemblies and curriculum provision.
The co-operative values of co-operation, self reliance, team work and ethical approaches to business have informed our school values. These form an important role in strengthening our school ethos and our links with the local community.
We encourage all students to take on leadership roles as we work together to improve the school. It’s an excellent way to develop confidence and get used to making things happen. There are loads of great opportunities and roles led by students.
At Whalley Range Sixth Form we have a rich history of student leadership and we are proud of the
opportunities that our students have to develop their leadership skills to become leaders in their field
in the future.
