Our state of the art sixth form building includes purpose-built social spaces, high tech independent study areas and flexible learning spaces. Three million pounds has been invested in ICT and new learning technologies throughout the school.
Whalley Range Sixth Form Centre
Learning Resource Centre
Situated within the Sixth Form Centre, our state of the art Learning Resource Centre includes a computer suite, an extensive catalogue of books and designated ‘quiet areas’ for focused study.
Mac Suite
The Sixth Form Centre houses a specialist Mac Suite, used for lessons requiring high performance and specialised software packages such as the Adobe Creative Suite.
Private Study Areas
Designated areas are provided for students to continue their studies and work on projects during non-timetabled times.
Common Room
When not being used for whole Sixth Form events such as Celebration Evenings, the Common Room is an ideal location for Sixth Formers to relax and socialise during breaks, with lockers and comfortable seating provided.
