Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) from Whalley Range Sixth Form College.
We take our duty to provide students with high quality, impartial careers advice and guidance very seriously as we prepare our young people for their futures, whether it be university, employment or further training within apprenticeships.
CEIAG is delivered through the curriculum, during tutorial times, dedicated sessions and can be accessed by all students throughout the year.
Our Careers Guidance Programme is designed to inform, support and inspire our students to be positive and ambitious about their future plans and to equip them with the skills and qualifications they need to progress into either higher education or the world of work.
We have a dedicated Careers Advisor based in the Sixth Form, Mrs Worrall: vworrall@wrhs1118.co.uk
Every Sixth Form student will meet one to one with Mrs Worrall at least twice during their time with us. Students are also able to request additional meetings or just drop in to see her should they have a question to ask.
Mrs Worrall provides independent advice surrounding all aspects of progression whether that be; university, apprenticeships, work or further college study. She has a wealth of knowledge and is an extremely important part of our Sixth Form.
