Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9)

In Year 7 we provide an exciting cross-curricular programme of theme based lessons which develop subject specific skills whilst enabling students to make connections and see the bigger picture.

Years 7 and 8

All students study English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, RE, a modern foreign language (French, German, Spanish, Arabic or Urdu), Technology, Art and Design, Music, Drama, ICT and PE.

Year 9

In Year 9 students continue with English, Maths, Science, RE, a language, ICT and PE; they are able to refine their curriculum offer by choosing to study either History or Geography; two out of Art and Design, Music or Drama; and two out of Food Technology, Product Design and Textiles. This is followed with further choices in Year 9 when students pick the subjects they want to study at Key Stage 4.

More curriculum content, including interactive lessons and resources, can be found on our school VLE – Frog Learn (which requires a school login). For further information regarding the curriculum in Years 7, 8 and 9, please contact:
