‘The Teenage Years’ Parenting Course Comes to Whalley Range

( Published: 04/06/2024)

As part of the school’s commitment to support parents/carers, we are running a series of parenting support groups.

The next sessions will take place during the final half term of this year, and are open to all parents/carers who would like to strengthen their relationship with their child, learn new parenting strategies and meet other parents/carers.

Designed by the charity ‘Care for the Family’, The Teenage Years course contains help and advice on parenting in those teenage years to build strong relationships to enjoy family life. The six sessions are designed to help you stay connected with your teenager through understanding their world and developing good communication skills. Sessions cover topics such as boundaries, risky behaviour, connecting with your teenager and creating strong families.

Sessions begin on Wednesday 5th June 2024 and will be delivered on a weekly basis by Ms Kaira from the Emotional Wellbeing Team.
