Whalley Range Sixth Form: Vision and Values

Whalley Range Sixth Form is a single-sex Sixth Form college in vibrant and diverse South Manchester. Although the Sixth Form is situated in South Manchester, students are drawn to the college from all over the city and areas of Greater Manchester. As a Sixth Form we are dedicated to empowering the young women studying with us to achieve their goals and rise with us, so that they succeed and progress.

Our Vision

At Whalley Range Sixth Form we aim to provide our students with exceptional Post-16 provision which empowers, inspires and challenges the young women studying with us to achieve their goals. Our Sixth Form is proud of the support, guidance and pastoral care that we offer our students and tailor to their needs. Our offer is bespoke to each cohort and our core values of RESPECT, INTEGRITY, STRENGTH, EXCELLENCE underpin all aspects of college life and development.

    Students at Whalley Range Sixth Form will enjoy a unique learning experience that is tailored to their needs and built around the goals and aspirations of each student.

    Students at Whalley Range Sixth Form receive bespoke pastoral support and guidance from the exceptional Sixth Form Team. Each cohort of students at Whalley Range Sixth Form is unique and the pastoral element of their Sixth Form journey is bespoke and meets the needs of all of our students.

    Students at Whalley Range Sixth Form are central to our vision and opportunities for students to grow and develop are plentiful. Student voice is fundamental in our approach and use this information to ensure that needs of each students are met and that they have grown and flourished before they move on from Whalley Range Sixth Form at the end of Year 13.
