Whalley Range student achieves a ‘Highly Commended’ award at the 2020 Portico Library Sadie Massey Awards, for her impressive book review of ‘Sadie’ by Courtney Summers.
Chloe, who was in Year 10 at the time of the competition, submitted a book review into the Portico Library Sadie Massey Awards. She reviewed a book called ‘Sadie’ by Courtney Summers.
Each year, hundreds of students enter the Portico Library Sadie Massey Awards (see the 2020 winners list), and Chloe’s engaging and insightful review of this book gained her one of only three ‘Highly Commended’ awards, a fantastic achievement.
The Portico Library Sadie Massey Awards are a very well supported literary event for young people. Chloe should be very proud of herself to have achieved a High Commended award. I know that I am certainly very proud of her!
