Safer Internet Day 2021

( Published: 08/02/2021)

Safer Internet Day is on Tuesday 9th February 2021 and this year’s theme is ‘an Internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world’.

Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people and inspire a national conversation. As usual, Whalley Range 11-18 High School will be celebrating and promoting this with our young people.

The week commencing 8th February, students will be having live lessons on Teams to raise awareness and talk about Safer Internet Day. Students will also be completing school activities about online behaviour and how to stay safe when using social media sites.
