Hiphop Shakespeare

( Published: 01/05/2012)

Guests of Whalley Range 11-18 High School, the Q Brothers, showed students the art of rap through Shakespeare.

A lucky group of students got the opportunity to collaborate with Q Brothers TQ and JQ. They combined rap and education through imaginative scenarios and storytelling. The Q Brothers worked with the students to create rap verses based on fictional scenarios. The students bravely took to the stage to deliver their lyrics to the watching crowd, who thoroughly enjoyed the performances.

The students and the Q Brothers had a great time and even made it on to a live broadcast of BBC Radio Manchester.
