Mehak won a design competition as part of the annual Muslim Arts and Culture Festival (Macfest) in Manchester in 2020

Creative iMedia students from Whalley Range 11-18 High School were invited to submit entries for a design competition, to design the flyer for Macfest 2020. Mehak in Year 11 developed a wonderful piece and with feedback from the festival director, hers was selected as the final design. This was delivered to thousands of people across our city.

Mr Corney, Creative iMedia Teacher, said:

I would like to congratulate Mehak for her stunning work. She has an amazing attention to detail and I can really see her thriving in a creative career in the future if she chooses that pathway! Also, a big thank you to Qaisra from Macfest for providing us with this opportunity.
