Students Aim High at Futures Fest 2023 ( Published: 20/10/2023)

The annual Whalley Range Futures Fest took place on Tuesday 26th September 2023, and saw educational institutions and training providers from across Manchester and the North West share important information to allow students to make informed decisions on their next steps.
All students in Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 were given time to explore their options and chat with staff about their considerations for education, training or employment. Students also had the opportunity to receive impartial advice and guidance from our careers advisor during the event.

On behalf of the school, we would like to thank all of the visitors who came in to speak to the students and hope to welcome everyone back again next September.

This year was our biggest and best Futures Fest to date. We welcomed over 30 exhibitors and the students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity. From our student voice, 66% agreed that the event had made them consider options for their future that they hadn’t previously. Thank you to all of our visitors for making that happen.
