The Diana Award was set up in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales and her belief that young people have the power to change the world.

The two main things that the charity focus their efforts on are young people and change. We set up a fund raising event to help support their work, which included a photo-booth, cake sale, pledge wall, singing, social media privacy support and a social media quiz.

Miss Alderson, Learning to Lead Coordinator, said:

The event was an amazing opportunity for the students to expand their knowledge of social media privacy and really come together as a community to stop bullying in schools. All the money raised will go towards other school’s Anti-Bullying Ambassador training – this is such a fantastic prospect for our young people to help change the world.
