Children’s Mental Health Week 2021

( Published: 05/02/2021)

1st – 7th February 2021 is Children’s Mental Health Week. The annual event is a great reminder to set aside some time to speak about your mental health, and with home-schooling and lockdowns here for another few weeks at least, there’s never been a better time to do so.

This year’s theme is ‘Express Yourself‘ and the aim is to encourage everyone to find creative ways to explore their thoughts and feelings. Whether that’s through photography, art, drama, music or poetry, it’s about finding those things that make you feel good about yourself.

And it’s not just about children’s mental health either. Whilst this is Children’s Mental Health Week, there has never been a more important time to talk about parental and carers wellbeing and mental health too. So why not watch the attached presentation with someone for more information about how to ‘Express Yourself’.

If you have any concerns, or would just like to talk to someone, then please contact your Head of Year.
