Year 6 Virtual Sports Day 2021

Introduction

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we are unable to meet you before the end of term this year, but we didn’t want you to miss out on being introduced to our PE Department. So, instead of a physical event, we are delighted to welcome you to our ‘Virtual Sports Day’.

8 Challenges, 4 weeks, lots of chances to get involved.

WHO WILL WIN?

This is different to a normal Sports Day as it can be done with very little space and no sports equipment! Our Virtual Sports Day aims to give you a taste of what a Whalley Range Sports Day looks like, so check out the introduction video below first before you try our 8 challenges:

Star Jumps (Challenge 1)

Challenge 1 is all about star jumps, so make sure you have plenty of room around you. See how many star jumps you can do in 1 minute. Ensure that you spread your arms and legs as far as they can go. Once you've completed the challenge, remember to click the button to enter your best score. Good luck!

Say hello to Mrs O'Brien who's recorded a demonstration for you below, so you can practice along with her:
