Student’s ‘Talk’ Business Sense in the Whalley Range Dragon’s Den ( Published: 17/01/2019)

As part of National Enterprise Week students were asked to plan and strategise any business/entrepreneurial ideas they had and submit them to be reviewed by our specially selected Dragons.

The students submitted some amazing ideas to the Dragons over Enterprise Week, three of which were specially selected by the panel and those students were called up to the conference room to pitch their ideas to the Dragons (Mrs Raffo, Mr Da Silva, Mr Bashir and three Sixth Form Business Leaders).

Subu gave an amazing pitch, which resulted in her winning the Dragon’s Den competition. Subu’s idea was to create an app called ‘Talk’, which would enable users to talk to each other, ask questions and receive counselling if necessary – but that’s all we’re willing to give away at this time as the idea could be developed for the real world!

Mr Da Silva, Dragon, said:

This event was a fantastic opportunity for the students to showcase their business ideas!
