Over the summer, your daughter may spend more time than usual online. Whilst school is closed for summer our monitoring will not happen in the same way as in term time and we need your help in supporting her online behaviour. You can find lots of hints and tips on one of our eSafety pages. Perhaps this holiday might be a good time to start a conversation with your daughter about her online habits and how she copes with the pressures of life online. In particular, please discuss her use of language in emails and posts and how sometimes audiences interpret things differently from her intended meaning.
If you do come across something of concern on social media the key places to report are listed on our Safeguarding page, especially the site Report Harmful Content. Your daughter has had these key message in school too and has had key contact information emailed to her school account.
More importantly, please encourage her to have time ‘offline’ and to take part in some healthy activities away from her phone, tablet or computer.
We strive for excellence and are very proud of our achievements and affiliations.
If you believe something is missing or should be removed from the list below, please let us know.
