The welcoming environment and comfortable atmosphere convinced me that I had come to the right place. WRSF is full of sociable students, all willing to build relationships with each other, which makes the time spent at Sixth Form truly wonderful. As WRSF students, we are always put at the centre of everything; regular assemblies and opportunities for us to provide feedback to the Sixth Form team, ensures us that our ideas and opinions are not only listened to, but are also implemented in order to make our Sixth Form experience tailored in a way that is most beneficial to us.

At WRSF, we are taught by some of the best teachers; friendly, experienced, full of ideas and true experts in their subjects.

Not only do our teachers teach us what we need to know for our exams, they also invest a huge amount of time into providing us with all the guidance we need in order to achieve our aspirations. As a WRSF student, I never felt I was lacking any support; each and every individual teacher was committed to helping me get to where I wanted to; always striving to help me in any ways they possibly could.

The wide variety of teaching and learning facilities, coupled with relevant class trips and frequent group presentations, also made study much more interesting and enjoyable.

Due the vast amount of enrichment activities available, I had the opportunity to mentor younger students, participate in challenging competitions as well as undertake a nationally accredited research project. As a result, I was able to step outside of my comfort zone and develop many interpersonal skills, helping me get to where I am today. Everything that WRSF has to offer is to help students to stand out from the crowd by shaping us not only into better students, but also into better individuals.

For these reasons and many more, to attend Whalley Range Sixth Form will forever be one of the best decisions I ever took and recommending it to others will forever be something that I never refrain from! Thank you to all the members of staff at WRSF and my teachers for making Sixth Form such a memorable and truly invaluable experience for me!
