We have just celebrated last summer’s results with the students at our certificate presentation events and we are very proud of what they achieved. At Key Stage 4 (Year 11) our progress measure put us in the top 5% in the country which is a wonderful achievement. We are also very pleased with all the examination results in the Sixth Form, as they enabled students to progress on to an appropriate course; and many of the students have progressed on to some very good courses at various universities.

I am sure you will enjoy reading this Partnership News as it captures some of the wonderful opportunities and events that the students are involved in; and you can also read about two prestigious awards we have received this year. We were thrilled to be presented with the Communication Award at The Educate Awards; and also for some Year 8 students to achieve a Social Action Award at the 2019 Greater Manchester Youth Network.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and my very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

Mrs E Hole (Academy Headteacher)
