Cross Trust Army Residential ( Published: 22/03/2019)

On the 19th March 2019, students from both Levenshulme High School and Whalley Range 11-18 High School teamed up for an exciting adventure to Holcombe Moor Army Camp.

Students involved in an obstacle course during a residential trip to Holcombe Moor Army Camp in 2019

In collaboration with Manchester United Foundation, students from across the Education and Leadership Trust took part in an overnight residential, to help further develop leadership and communication skills, alongside problem solving and conquering fears.

The students took part in a whole host of activities, which included:

  • Live firing range
  • Paintball assault course
  • Obstacle course
  • Emergency first aid combat training
  • Escape room challenge

The two day residential trip took students out of their comfort zones, but they had a fantastic time and can’t wait to hopefully return again next year. We’d like to thank the staff at Holcombe Moor for their hospitality and for a fantastic experience.
