Mr Atkinson, Head of Parks House, said of International Women’s Day:
It is a very important day in the calendar for Whalley Range students and staff. As a school we aim to empower the next generation of female leaders and by building International Women’s Day in to the PSHE curriculum this year, students have had further opportunities to find out about inspirational women and address gender inequality. As always, our students have risen to the challenge and got themselves involved in everything that has been organised for IWD 2017.
