Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people and inspire a national conversation. As usual, Whalley Range 11-18 High School will be celebrating and promoting this with our young people.
The week commencing 10th February, students will be going into assemblies to raise awareness and talk about Safer Internet Day. Students will also be completing a school competition to create a flyer/advert to promote the e-safety theme ‘how to be ourselves’ on the internet. All students will be completing activities in their computer science lessons related to E-Safety.

As part of the flyer/advert competition students will also be writing a caption to complete the hashtag #Freetobe, with prizes going to the best three captions.
