Safer Internet Day 2019 ( Published: 04/02/2019)

Safer Internet Day is on Tuesday 5th February and this year’s theme is ‘together for a better internet’.

Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people and inspire a national conversation. As usual, Whalley Range 11-18 High School will be celebrating and promoting this with our young people.

We’re really looking forward to Safer Internet Day and have lot’s of activities planned. During assemblies, Digital Leaders will be talking to fellow student’s about Internet Safety and we’ll be completing activities in lessons to discuss the use of social media and both the positive and negative impacts.
