Open Evening Update 2020 ( Published: 22/09/2020)

Unfortunately, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, extended measures within the Greater Manchester area and exceptional circumstances that surround this, Whalley Range 11-18 High School will not be holding its annual Open Evening on-site for visitors this year.

We are extremely disappointed at not being able to welcome you into our school to share with you how proud we are of our school community. However, the continually evolving situation with coronavirus and the necessary safety controls that we must put in place to protect our school community mean that we cannot currently welcome external visitors to our school.

Instead of holding our usual event, we will be launching on 1st October 2020 our first ever Virtual Open Month. Throughout October we will provide you with information about our school, curriculum and pastoral support.

The information will be available here on our website and will also be shared on our social media sites throughout October, to support parents and carers in making informed choices regarding their secondary school place for September 2021.

Should you have any questions about our Virtual Open Evening events please contact Mr Mycock (Assistant Headteacher) or call the school on 0161 861 9727.

We very much look forward to hearing from you.
