During these challenging times, and with the current closure of schools, a number of families are concerned about how they will receive the financial support they need to feed their children at home, without the free school meal entitlement.

Whalley Range 11-18 High School wants to ensure that all the families of students who receive free school meals have access to financial support, to provide food throughout the current Covid-19 emergency.

To deliver this support, we are subscribing to the Department for Education’s scheme, in partnership with Edenred, to provide access to supermarket vouchers for families with students entitled to free school meals.

This support will be received in the form of an eCode that you can redeem online from a selection of supermarket eGift card or vouchers.

In order to do this, we must have, for you, a working email address which you can access.

If we have a valid email address for you, we are already taking the appropriate steps to get this scheme set up, and you should start to receive an email, with eCodes and information about how to use them, during the week commencing 20th April 2020.

If we do not have a valid email address for you, we will be sending you a text message, requesting that you reply with your email address.

Remember: the eCode will be sent to your email address. You will receive further instructions with this eCode about how to redeem the eCode at your preferred supermarket.

You will receive £15 per child per week. You will receive a different eCode for each child.
