The Educate Awards is the largest education awards in the North West, spanning Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
The Communication Award considers how well schools in the North West have developed communication links with its pupils, parents, governors, local community and wider audiences, with a particular focus on measured and creative approaches. With nominated schools from across the whole of the North West, it’s a massive achievement and privilege to be amongst only three finalists.
Having been nominated for the work we do on our Website, Partnership News and Social Media collectively, we were recently contacted by Kim O’Brien, Executive Editor of Educate Magazine and founder of the Educate Awards, to invite us to their 2019 awards ceremony this October at the stunning venue of Liverpool Cathedral.
Congratulations, Whalley Range High School has been shortlisted in the Educate Awards 2019 The Communication Award category. A huge achievement, so well done to all the team at Whalley Range High School! 2019 has once again seen an unprecedented number of entries and the quality across all categories has again really impressed our judges, making it a very tough decision-making process. Whittling down to a final shortlist has been even more difficult this year.
