Accessing Food in School ( Published: 07/09/2020)

Some key information with regards to school meals, such as how to purchase food from the dining room/canteen.

Food is available at both break and lunchtime and it is up to students to choose when they would like to eat. Both hot food and sandwiches are available and we operate a cashless catering system, so it is important that you always have your swipecard with you. You can bring your own packed lunch in to eat and we would encourage students to make healthy choices.

Due to the Coronavirus, we are no longing using biometrics/finger scanning software when charging at our catering tills, to reduce contact and help us all to stay safe. We are using swipecards only. Therefore, students must bring their swipecard to school every day and funds must be added via ParentPay in advance.

If your daughter is entitled to free school meals, a balance will automatically be added to her account every day.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Is your Child Entitled to Free School Meals?
We encourage all parents/carers to check if their child is entitled to free school meals (FSM). Being registered for free school meals benefits the student and the school.
