Personal Learning, Thinking Skills and Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning are developed by the wide range of activities included on Project Days. Students learn to take part and contribute effectively to a team, to self-manage, to think creatively, to research independently and to reflect on their learning.
Each themed project ends with self assessment and a teacher assessment and the sharing of work produced with peers.
Themes
Over the course of the year, Project Day focuses on five main themes:
- My Self
- My City
- My World
- My Future
- My Journey
The work of Project Day falls across several faculties. For the most up-to-date version of our curriculum map, please look at the individual subject pages.
