Year 7’s Impress at Barclays Workshop
The event was supported by colleagues from Barclays Bank and engaged the students in activities about making new friends, relationships and working together.
Our students showed fantastic engagement during the activities, working well as a team and having a lot of fun, whilst learning plenty too!
Elizabeth Ward (Barclays/Free the Children) said this of the students:
I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with such intelligent, knowledgeable, kind and respectful young women. They are a credit to their school and community.
Barclays and Free the Children do a lot of of work in the community to help young people get the skills and experiences they need to enter the world of work. Our thanks to Barclays for running the session and a big well done to our students for making the most of this opportunity and for representing the school in such a positive way.
