Homework

Homework will be set regularly. Sometimes it will be the completion of work set online through school resources such as Frog.

Students can always do additional practice and study by going on websites like BBC Bitesize and myMaths. They will be given access codes in school. Please contact your child’s Form Tutor if your child does not know how to log on.

Private reading remains important for all progress and academic success. Please encourage your child to read as much as possible – fact or fiction, books, magazines, newspapers. Our school librarian will always be happy to recommend books.

Local libraries now offer extensive support for out of school learning. ICT rooms are open at lunchtime for study and the completion of coursework.

Our Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is open daily for students to study, use the school computers or to read and borrow books. Students can also access learning through Frog, our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
